ORLANDO – April 6, 2021 – United Arts of Central Florida is pleased to welcome Amogh Bhonde, senior vice president at Siemens Energy; Sheldon Dutes, news team anchor at WESH 2; and Maria Isabel Sanquírico, founder and president of Eleven 11 Communications to the Board of Directors.

“I am thrilled to welcome Amogh, Sheldon and Maria Isabel to the United Arts Board of Directors,” said Juliana Steele, interim president and CFO of United Arts. “We are lucky to have found leaders in the community who are passionate about the arts and are committed to seeing local arts and culture flourish.”

Amogh Bhonde – Bhonde is senior vice president, Digital Solutions Business, with Siemens Energy. Amogh has a track record of successfully leading and growing industrial equipment and digital businesses. He is an expert in managing P&L for profitable growth, multi-site manufacturing operations, and business turnarounds. Amogh is respected as a steady hand in challenging environments who inspires people around him and brings out the best in them.

Sheldon Dutes – Dutes is an Orlando native who joined the WESH 2 news team as an anchor in December 2020. Sheldon returned home after graduating from the University of Notre Dame and covering news in different regions of the country. He previously anchored the weekday morning newscasts at WISN-TV, WESH’s sister-station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He also worked as a general assignment reporter at WNBC (New York), WBAL (Baltimore) and WCSC (Charleston).

Maria Isabel Sanquírico – Sanquírico is the founder and president of Eleven 11 Communications, a communications firm driven to deliver solutions for companies seeking to engage with the Hispanic audience, be it in the General Market or U.S. Hispanic, in English or Spanish. She is a seasoned public relations professional with nearly 25 years of experience and has been recognized by PR News in its Top Women in PR 2020.
