United Arts of Central Florida has been selected as a 2026 South Arts Cross-Sector Impact Grant recipient, supporting a new partnership with Nemours Children’s Hospital to connect pediatric patients and families with arts experiences that support health and wellbeing.
Downtown Orlando came alive during the annual Chalk Festival, part of DTO Live!, presented by the City of Orlando and United Arts of Central Florida. Local artists transformed city streets into vibrant, large-scale works of art—each one created live and designed to exist only for a moment.
After facing burnout and questioning his path as an artist, Orlando-based interdisciplinary artist Damon DeWitt found the courage to go all in. With support from United Arts, he reclaimed space to create—and brought his ambitious DREAM TEAM series to life.
United Arts recently piloted an Early Learning through the Arts professional development workshop for early childhood educators, using the nationally recognized Wolf Trap model. Supported by KPMG, the workshop equipped educators in the 32805 community with creative, arts-integrated strategies that strengthen kindergarten readiness and support whole-child learning.
