ORLANDO – March 11, 2024 – From now until March 31, United Arts is collecting supplies to help young
creatives and youth arts programs thrive. The arts are vital to a vibrant community and United Arts is
working to ensure each child discovers their creativity and has the tools they need in school and out by
facilitating an art supply drive.
“As Central Florida’s local art agency, we see the need for resources in our community and through
surveying local teachers in our public schools, we identified the specific essentials needed to make sure
art is thriving,” said Jennifer Evins, president and CEO of United Arts. “Help us nurture young artists and
sustain the vibrancy of the arts by donating the most needed art supplies today.”
Donations made through the United Arts Youth Art Supply Drive support youth in Lake, Orange, Osceola
and Seminole county public schools, allowing them to start and strengthen their interests in the arts. All
art supply donations, supporting music, dance, theatre and visual arts classes, are welcome, but the
most requested supplies are markers, crayons, colored pencils, watercolors, acrylic paints, 90lb paper
and drawing paper. You can also view the updated registry to see what supplies are in the highest
demand for the community online.
For those interested in purchasing arts supplies online to donate to the drive, please refer to the
Amazon registry. If you shop locally, please see the participating locations and drop-off sites:

You can also support the arts outside the box. Some supplies cannot be donated. Instrument repairs,
performance rights and rental costs are all factors that affect art production in our schools. Not all arts
programs need physical supplies, but they still need support. By giving a cash donation online, you can
help to support these specific needs.
