1. Honoring Asian American Heritage & Culture 

Kicking off the month-long celebration on Saturday, May 2 at 2 p.m. is the event hosted by the Orange County Regional History Center where attendees can immerse themselves in Asian American heritage and culture. While admission is free, space is limited. Guests are encouraged to reserve a spot.

2. Orange County’s 12th Annual AAPI Heritage County Celebration

On Tuesday, May 7 at 7:20 a.m. Orange County will host its 12th Annual Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage County Celebration at the Orange County Administration Center. This gathering serves as a platform to recognize the achievements and contributions of AAPI individuals, fostering unity and understanding among diverse communities. Admissions free, but please RSVP in advance.

3. Kung Fu Show 

Lastly, the mesmerizing Kung Fu Show presented by the Wah Lum Kung Fu Temple on May 11 at the Orange County Public Library offers a unique opportunity to experience the richness of Chinese culture through captivating performances. From exhilarating lion dances to graceful tai chi demonstrations, this event promises to be a vibrant showcase of these traditions.

4. East Meets West

For those looking to experience the fusion of East and West, this two day  event is a must. Held at the East End Market in the Audubon Park Garden District, it will offer a delicious journey through Asian and fusion cuisine, alongside a unique marketplace overflowing with handcrafted goods, souvenirs, and artwork.

5. Asian Cultural Festival

The Asian Cultural Festival, organized by the Asian American Heritage Council, is a highlight of the month-long festivities. Held at the scenic Ocoee Lakeshore Center Bill Breeze Park, this event showcases the rich cultural heritage of China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, The Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam through performances, cuisine, and interactive activities.
