DTOLive! has been honored for transforming downtown Orlando through free arts and culture programming.

ORLANDO, Fla. – (May 8, 2025) United Arts of Central Florida (United Arts), in partnership with the City of Orlando’s Downtown Development Board (DDB), Creative City Project, and the Downtown Arts District, is proud to announce that the DTOLive! initiative has been awarded the Game Changer Award at the 2024 Golden Brick Awards. Presented by the Downtown Orlando Partnership and sponsored by AdventHealth, the award honors programs that have made a transformative impact on the downtown experience.

Launched in June 2024, DTOLive! brings free, high-quality arts and cultural programming to downtown Orlando’s public spaces. The program makes the arts more accessible while energizing the city for residents, workers, and visitors alike. Through this collaboration, United Arts has helped deliver over 600 free performances, engaging 275 local artists and nonprofit organizations, attracting 58,000 visits, and generating 28.68 million impressions.

The Downtown Development Board was also named a finalist for several other initiatives, including the Westcourt Economic Development Incentive Agreement, Ride DTO, and the Clean & Safe app, all of which highlight the city’s broader commitment to downtown vitality, safety, and connectivity.

The sold-out Golden Brick Awards ceremony was held on May 7, 2025, at Steinmetz Hall in the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
