Since 1989, United Arts has been on a mission to enrich communities by investing in arts, science and history.
Funding is just one piece of the puzzle. To truly make art thrive, United Arts has built programs that help bring the arts to everyone — programs that bolster curriculums, champion diversity, and advocate to local governments.
The Collaborative Campaign for the Arts is a fundraising effort coordinated by United Arts in partnership with arts and cultural organizations in Central Florida. Contributions designated to the Collaborative Campaign partners (listed below) during the campaign are eligible for a 15% match by United Arts. The only one of its kind, the Collaborative Campaign infuses millions into arts and culture each year.
Crealdé School of Art features a year-round curriculum of over 125 visual art classes for students of all ages, as well as award-winning outreach programs, taught by a faculty of more than 40 professional artists. Crealdé’s main campus offers two galleries and an outdoor sculpture garden. Crealdé’s second campus, the Hannibal Square Heritage Center, pays tribute through its permanent collection to contributions of Winter Park’s historic African-American community, as well as hosting visiting exhibitions. A limited number of classes are also held at the Jesse Brock Community Center in Winter Garden.
