ORLANDO, Fla. — September 15, 2021 —United Arts of Central Florida is pleased to welcome Elyse Jardine as the new grants program officer. This role was previously titled manager of grants and arts education.

Elyse brings more than 5 years of experience in grant writing and grant management. She is committed to the development of vibrant and inclusive communities. Her professional history includes working as a project manager for the Institute for Public Health Innovation & Virginia Tech where she supported community change through a cross-cutting approach by connecting individuals, organizations, and communities to resources and projects to increase health equity. In this role, she also managed grants that they received, as well as those that they gave.
The grants program officer at United Arts is directly responsible for all aspects of United Arts’ grant portfolio, including Operating Support, Project Grants, Facility grants, and Diversity in the Arts grants that award, on average, $2.9 million annually to approximately 60 nonprofit arts, science and history organizations in the Central Florida region.
