ORLANDO – March 10, 2020 – United Arts of Central Florida (United Arts) announced the recipients of its first cycle of Orange County Venue Subsidy Grants. Nineteen organizations were awarded grants totaling $277,687.

Through a $500,000 allocation from Orange County Government, United Arts has created a new grant program that will bring more arts and cultural programs to Orange County. This grant will give arts and cultural nonprofits of all sizes the ability to bring programming to Orange County that will appeal to a wide range of audiences by subsidizing the rental costs of venues throughout the County.

This cycle’s grant recipients are:

United Arts is now accepting applications for the next cycle of Venue Subsidy Grants. The next application deadline is 5:00 p.m., June 2, 2020. Applicants are eligible for a maximum of $50,000 or not more than 50% of the total venue rental and related venue costs for performances and exhibitions, per fiscal year.
