Each year, on the weekend after Thanksgiving, Downtown Orlando becomes a living tapestry of color, sound, and story.

FusionFest, Central Florida’s International Arts & Culture Festival, returns November 29–30, 2025, to the Seneff Arts Plaza at Dr. Phillips Center, welcoming thousands of visitors to celebrate what makes our region so extraordinary: the people who call it home.

Now in its eighth year, this free, two-day event invites audiences to explore more than 110 cultural traditions through live music, dance, film, food, fashion, and art. The theme of 2025, “The Art of Joy,” reminds us that creativity is a bridge — connecting neighbors, generations, and ideas in uplifting and unexpected ways.

FusionFest’s mission is simple but powerful: to bring people together through shared experiences. Guided by Acting Executive Director Maria Fernanda Saavedra and a dedicated team of local leaders, artists, and volunteers, the festival highlights how curiosity and creativity can strengthen our sense of belonging as Central Floridians.

This year’s highlights include:
🎨 Colors of Culture: A Global Runway Experience, a vivid showcase of traditional and contemporary attire curated by Kymbat Iglikova.
🎬 MYgration Films, short documentaries pairing local filmmakers with residents to tell personal stories of finding home in Central Florida.
🥘 The Culinary Fusion Contest, where chefs blend flavors and techniques from around the world to create something entirely new.
🎭 FusionFlow, a Saturday evening performance merging music and dance to show that creativity truly has no borders.

“FusionFest is a celebration of what we all share — imagination, community, and the joy of expression,” says Saavedra. “When we create together, we grow stronger together.”

United Arts of Central Florida proudly supports FusionFest and its ongoing work to make art and culture accessible for everyone. Together, we make creativity — and community — thrive.
