Trudy Wild leads United Arts’ advocacy strategy to advance public funding, policy alignment, and community awareness for the arts across Central Florida and the State of Florida, with select national engagement. She serves as the organization’s primary driver of advocacy planning, execution, and relationship management—positioning United Arts as a trusted, credible, and influential voice with elected officials, public agencies, and sector partners.
Trudy brings her commitment and experience to the creative industries as an arts and cultural professional with more than 35 years in administration, project management, grant making, research and advocacy. Wild is a dedicated proponent of the arts and, through outreach, connects and supports the cultural community and helps organizations and arts workers thrive in the business of art by sharing resources, best practices and technical assistance.
Trudy’s work history began in personnel at the Federal Reserve Bank of Buffalo, New York; transitioned to accounting at Badger Engineering in Tampa; and to the creative environment of Magic Pencil Studios. She has been with United Arts for the past 24 years. In her spare time, Wild enjoys proofreading, food and her ginger cat, Sunshine.
