Cindy Bowman LaFronz is a veteran public relations and community relations professional with more than 30 years of experience in developing initiatives for several nonprofit organizations including short- and long-range community relation plans, promotions and programs. She has extensive experience in positioning organizations favorably in the community by developing positive and sustainable relationships with key individuals, as well as counseling executive management. One such organization was Rollins College serving as Director of Community and Government Relations where she assessed and identified opportunities to enhance visibility in the local community including developing and managing the strategic community outreach plan for the College that had a focused approach aligned with the core business of education. In addition, she has served as Editor of Orlando Arts Magazine for 25 years. Orlando Arts is a bi-monthly magazine that covers all arts and cultural activities in Central Florida and is a vital lifeline between arts organizations and the sophisticated and savvy audiences who visit galleries, museums, concerts, films, theater to name a few. Her love of the arts started very young. Taking dance lessons for 14 years and performing in school and community theater. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and public relations from Capital University in Bexley, Ohio.
