United Arts Grants DTOLive! Call for POP-UP Creative Storefronts

About the OPPORTUNITY

As part of DTOLive!, United Arts Creative Placemaking team is activating creative Pop-Ups in available storefronts throughout Downtown Orlando.

The vision of this initiative is to activate vibrancy in storefronts with POP-UP art exhibitions showcasing the work of local artists in the heart of Downtown Orlando to bring economic vitality and increase pedestrian activity.

Any artist or creative designer working in any medium can submit credentials. The art for the spaces can range from sculptural, visual art exhibitions, fashion displays, set design, and creative, scalable window installations. The creation of a new work is not required; however, all work should be suitable for public display for all audiences (PG rating).

United Arts DTO Live! is committed to providing art experiences that are accessible to everyone, free, and open to the public.

Important Dates:
Once an artist is contracted, the installation must be completed within 40 days of the award.

Installations will be in place for a minimum of 30 days and up to 90 days, depending on the location and leasing terms. This period may be extended, and any extension would be communicated to the artist.

Selected artists will receive a stipend up to $2,000 to cover all materials, installation, transportation, parking, design fees, and artists' time per site.

Artists will be recognized at the installation site, on the DTOLive! Website, and United Arts Social Media Outlets
