Jennifer Rae Paxton is an Outreach Program Officer at United Arts of Central Florida. After a lifetime of performance and production roles spanning across many forms of arts and media, Jennifer has returned to the Orlando area with a mind to help revitalize the community, create innovative program opportunities, and activate spaces wherein diverse stories can be shared and celebrated.
Jennifer holds a BS in Psychology and a BA in Communications from Florida State University and has spent the last 15 years working in the not-for-profit arts sector. In 2010, after returning from a 6-year international touring stint managing a world-renowned flying trapeze act, Jennifer returned to Oklahoma and founded a grass roots outreach program that teaches circus arts to at-risk youth. In 2019 she was selected as a keynote speaker for the Cirque Du Monde International Social Circus Symposium.
As an active performer in the community Jennifer can be seen sharing the stage as a vocalist for live bands and musical theater productions around the city. Most recently, she served as Associate Director and Intimacy Coordinator for “Venus In Fur” at the Orlando Shakes and had the distinct pleasure of playing Dr. Frank N. Furter in Little Radical Theatrics production of “The Rocky Horror Show”.
