Sarah Babbage has been a member of the United Arts of Central Florida team since October 2022.

Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Sarah relocated to Florida to pursue an education at Full Sail University. In 2019, they graduated Valedictorian with a Bachelor’s degree in Media Communications. While at Full Sail, Sarah studied brand storytelling and developed skills in marketing and project management.

Since graduating, Sarah’s career has focused on fundraising and management roles in local nonprofits, most notably with Enzian and the Florida Film Festival, and now, United Arts of Central Florida. Since starting their journey with United Arts, Sarah has lent their expertise to initiatives such as the Collaborative Campaign for the Arts, the United ArtsCard, and United Arts’ numerous grant programs.

At the heart of Sarah’s work is a love for local culture. The role as Outreach Operations Manager offers Sarah the opportunity to assist the numerous arts, science, and history nonprofit organizations funded and supported by United Arts each year. Sarah enjoys utilizing their skillset and position to promote performers, educators, artists, and organizations that bring diverse perspectives and fresh ideas to Central Florida.

Outside of their time spent at United Arts, Sarah is an avid reader and writer, as well as a volunteer at Polka Dogz Pet Rescue, a local dog rescue.
