Sheldon Dutes is an award-winning news anchor & reporter for WESH 2 News. Before coming back home to Orlando, he crisscrossed the country working for local news stations in Milwaukee, New York City, Baltimore and Charleston, SC. As a kid, Sheldon performed on the stages of the Civic Theater (now Orlando Family Stage) and attended performances at the Bob Carr Theater. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in American Studies and received his master’s degree in Corporate Communication from Marquette University. In addition to United Arts of Central Florida, Sheldon also serves as the Board Development Chair for the Adult Literacy League and is on the advisory board for Notre Dame’s journalism program.
